A healthy lifestyle leaves you feeling energetic and at a reduced risk of disease. One of the foundations for continuing good health is daily exercise. Improve your health and well being by participating in the many recreational activities offered in Dartmouth.

Our 23 lakes in Dartmouth, City of Lakes, offer paddling, rowing, swimming, kayaking, windsurfing, water skiing, skating, sea-dooing and jetskiing.

Lake Banook is home to three paddling clubs and two rowing clubs. Our paddlers and rowers have brought home many medals from world-class competitions as well as national competitions.
